#26 Christina Suter- Mindset: Real Estate Really Sucks, or Does it?

Today I am talking about your mindset and the question of does real estate really suck? I’d like to first remind you that if you are getting into real estate for the reasons of getting rich quick or obtaining easy cash, let me tell you that’s not the reality of it. Real estate sucks on multiple levels, but it’s just as rewarding. I’ve lost over a million dollars in the past and recently I’ve lost a half of a million dollars. But guess what, I’ve also made millions of dollars, which will always remind me that although real estate can suck, it can also bring forth the incredible and positive world I’ve chosen to create for myself and for others. There have been days where I am worried, where I’m up all night and confused and unsure of what will come next. Then all of a sudden I come up with a brilliant idea that moves me forward and allows me positive closure. That is why real estate sucks just as much as it doesn’t. For new investors this is just a reminder that yes real estate is fun and engaging and will bring you lots of fulfilment, but that all comes at a cost and that cost is worth it.
